Saint Clair Half Marathon

Starting and finishing at the Saint Clair Vineyard Kitchen on Selmes Rd just outside Blenheim, the half marathon 21.1km course winds through vineyards, up and over short stop banks and alongside the mighty Wairau River. With the Wither Hills to the south, the Richmond Ranges to the north and the vineyards ablaze in their autumn colours, the Vineyard Half is the most scenic half marathon in New Zealand. Less than 4km of the course is on sealed road, and the course is mainly flat with off-road terrain that can be uneven underfoot.

Prosser Cup and Club Road Champs @ Bill and Julie Hunter

Meet at Bill’s and Julie’s Hawkesbury Road home. This is a combined club trophy run/walk event  so come along and enjoy with others.
Children under parental care.
Bring along some afternoon tea to share with others post race. Tea Coffee supplied.
Come along 1.45pm ready to start run/walk 2pm.
Look for the Harrier sign.

 

Pack Run, Link Pathway, Havelock

Travel to Havelock turning onto Queen Charlotte Drive. Meet at the carpark at the bottom of the hill.
Please keep your social distancing before, during and after the run/walk. There will be no afternoon tea provided. You can go into Havelock and support the locals.

Please be there by 1.45pm to sign in in terms of Covid 19 level 2 conditions.

With the announcement on Monday afternoon, we can now have groups of 100, so it is time to do a soft start to our running programme. This run/walk was in our winter programme so we all thought we would keep it simple and start with this one.

We shall be taking each weekend on its own merits and also depends on the regulations applying to that day.

If we all stick to the rules and look after each other keeping safe we shall be on the right road to opening our season up. We do not want to be the ones where the finger is pointed to if we have any virus run coming from our activities.

Pack Run Spring Creek Bridge

All meet over the Spring Creek Ferry bridge at the carpark. The run this week will take you over walking tracks by the Wairau River. You choose the distance and pace. All runners, joggers, walkers welcome.
Stay and enjoy a tea or coffee provided post event and a chat. Please bring some afternoon tea to share with others.
Look for the Harrier sign.

Summer Runners – Wither Hills

Summer Runners –Wither Hills Farmpark.Meet carpark top Redwood Street Be there 5.45pm ready to go 6pm. There is no organising committee this year, generally an informal run with route decided with those present and an occasional pre-planned route or relay.
