The Fairhall Road Race was contested in difficult conditions around the Ben Morven
Circuit on Saturday afternoon. All competitors started on handicap and battled into a biting head wind at the start of their respective races.
Paul Knight won the Annual Road Race 7 Mile Cup which is presented to the first runner
home overall in the main race. Being the first Veteran Man across the finish line he also collected the Veteran Fairhall Trophy (affectionately known as the Burglars Trophy). Robbie Barnes recorded the fastest actual time over the 9.2 km circuit and Kay Leach won the walking section.
Winners in the children’s grades included Gemma Bishell, Amber Bendell, Jayden Lucas, Hunter Bendell and Sam Hamilton.
