SUMMARY:Link Pathway - from Havelock
DESCRIPTION:An earlier start for this event (1pm). \nMeet at Inglis Street next to the Havelock Pub. The run briefing will start at 1pm. After the briefing there will be a mini van provided to take the runners/walkers to their starting place on the Link Pathway. The mini van will make the first drop off at Momorangi and then travel back to Havelock dropping off runners/walkers along the way. \nThe distances are: Momorangi 21k\, Aussie Bay Jetty 19k\, Anakiwa intersection 16k\, Linkwater garage 13k\, Moanui 8k\, Cullens Point lookout 5k (and if you wish for a bit more distance there is the Cullens Point Loop which will add a further 3.2k). \nIf you want a seat on the mini van please let Pete (027 447 5027 – peter@promann.co.nz) or Allister (021 159 0678 – akleach@outlook.com) know before Saturday so we can make sure that there are enough seats available. \nAfter this event come along to the Havelock Pub for a social drink/eats. \nLook for the Harrier sign.

SUMMARY:Burton Cup and Cross Country Champs
DESCRIPTION:The Burton Cup is the oldest trophy in the Club. It is a Cross Country handicapped race at Marathon Downs\, 737 Marama Road\, Seddon. Look for the Harrier sign. \nThis year we shall also be competing for the Cross Country Champs\nThis race is run in grades with winners from each grade. \nIt will be a 2 lap course with a total distance of around 8k. the walkers will do 1 Lap \nThe cross country will be a scratch start and the Burton cup will be a sealed Handicap \nPost run/walk stay for a chat over afternoon tea. Please bring a plate to share with others. \nVolunteers required to set the course up 12 noon and pulled down after the event.
