DESCRIPTION:Rugged but runnable – up into the “ Backwoods of Nelson” and along the sub alpine mineral belt. Sweeping views out to a glittering Tasman Bay await you as you descend New Zealand’s first railway line to the finish. \nFrom the Maitai Dam\, the route ascends to the Dun Mountain Saddle (875m) following the south branch of the Maitai River. Taking the Coppermine Saddle track and downhill along New Zealand’s first railway line\, through Third House and finishing at the OK Corral\, Brook Street\, Nelson. This is a testing run – but not impossible.

DESCRIPTION:With the Woodbourne being canceled it seems a shame not to use the training and preparation. Andrew and I are going to run a measured half marathon on Sunday at 9:00am. Leaving from Rifle Range carpark doing a loop of town and finishing back at the carpark\nIt will be a fast flat course. I’ll post a map later. We will run it as a race recording the best time we can\nPM me if you’re interested in joining us. I’ll record times and might even arrange a drink station\nCheers Pete \nFrom the rifle range car park head down hospital onto the Sutherland Stream walkway then onto Alabama Rd past the hall onto the Rail trail. A loop of the industrial estate and then back down the rail trail to the hall. There will be a drink station outside the hall which you can grab a drink in both directions (6k & 12k)\nThen continue down the rail trail until Stuart Street. Down Stuart Street to the river trail and turn left.\nStay on the river trail through town until the dump exit. Turn onto wither Rd past the recycling centre and then turn right onto Taylor pass road returning via the track back to the carpark

DESCRIPTION:With Covid 19 we have to change our programme regularly to enable us keep within the rules of level 2 to keep you all safe. \nToday’s event is to be a fun event whereby a course is set out and you elect to do either 1\, 2 or 3 laps and prior to starting\, you estimate your own time to do your elected 1\, 2 or 3 laps. No matter whether you do 1\, 2 or 3 laps it is the one closest to the estimated time who wins. \nMembers\, non members\, everyone welcome to have a go. Be at the Taylor Dam for recording under Covid 19 and to estimate your time with number of laps. Be ready to go at 2pm.

Inspired by the 1974 Christchurch Commonwealth Games marathon\, the ASB Christchurch Marathon takes in much of the same historic route with a flat\, fast and scenic tour of iconic landmarks such as the Christchurch Town Hall\, Hagley Park and the Avon River. SUMMARY:Pack Run\, Link Pathway\, Havelock
DESCRIPTION:Travel to Havelock turning onto Queen Charlotte Drive. Meet at the carpark at the bottom of the hill.\nPlease keep your social distancing before\, during and after the run/walk. There will be no afternoon tea provided. You can go into Havelock and support the locals. \nPlease be there by 1.45pm to sign in in terms of Covid 19 level 2 conditions. \nWith the announcement on Monday afternoon\, we can now have groups of 100\, so it is time to do a soft start to our running programme. This run/walk was in our winter programme so we all thought we would keep it simple and start with this one. \nWe shall be taking each weekend on its own merits and also depends on the regulations applying to that day. \nIf we all stick to the rules and look after each other keeping safe we shall be on the right road to opening our season up. We do not want to be the ones where the finger is pointed to if we have any virus run coming from our activities. \nAll welcome.

DESCRIPTION:This is the first inter club race for the season. It is over a 9km cross country course.\nThe more members from Marlborough the better chance we have of bringing the shield over the hill.\nTo get there travel over the Whangamoa Hill until you get to Hira School\, Hira Garage and Dairy then the turnoff is on your right.\nAllow plenty of time to get there.\nThere is no car share in place so please talk among yourselves and arrange or get over there under your own steam.\nStay and enjoy Nelson hospitality afterwards.

DESCRIPTION:The Cross Country Championship will be held on the Seventeen Valley course.\nTravel from Blenheim towards Seddon about 10km. The carpark and start of the course is on the right over the narrow bridge before you start climbing the hill.\nThe championship is a competition for all financial members of the Club. We would welcome members of the public to come and join us to see what this Cross Country racing is all about.\nAfter the event stay and enjoy a chat over a cup of tea or coffee provided. Please bring some afternoon tea to share with others. \nVolunteers are required to set up 12 noon and take down afterwards.

SUMMARY:Saint Clair Half Marathon
DESCRIPTION:Starting and finishing at the Saint Clair Vineyard Kitchen on Selmes Rd just outside Blenheim\, the half marathon 21.1km course winds through vineyards\, up and over short stop banks and alongside the mighty Wairau River. With the Wither Hills to the south\, the Richmond Ranges to the north and the vineyards ablaze in their autumn colours\, the Vineyard Half is the most scenic half marathon in New Zealand. SUMMARY:Burton Cup
DESCRIPTION:The Burton Cup is the oldest trophy in the Club. It is a Cross Country handicapped race at the Taylor Dam Cross Country Course. This year the course will be set up in reverse so you will be running from the start towards the public carpark\, over the top of the Dam completing the course where you started off.\nThis race is run in grades with winners from each grade.\nStay on to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee provided and a chat. Please bring something for afternoon tea to share with others. \nVolunteers required to set the course up 12 noon and pulled down after the event.
