DESCRIPTION:Meet at Flaxbourne Heritage Centre\, 57 Ward Street (Bonus Extra: Go early for a look around the Heritage Centre\, entry $10 – Don’t leave it until after as it closes at 3.00pm). This is an out and back run/walk\, as far as you wish to go. Alternatively walkers\, after meeting everyone at Ward\, can head to Hauwai near Lake Grassmere and walk to Ward. \nStay post run/walk to enjoy afternoon tea and a chat. Bring a plate to share with others. \nLook for the Harrier sign. \nCar Pooling: An informal carpool is being ‘organised’ from Redwoodtown Community Hall on Weld Street. Be there at 12.45pm for a 12.50pm departure to Ward. Really\, it’s just a meet up where you might jump in with others\, or take people in your car.

DESCRIPTION:Meet at Holdaway’s Farm\, Vickerman Street\, Grovetown. This is a combined club trophy run/walk event so come along and enjoy with others. Various distances for children from 1km to 4km. Adults 8km. \nCome along at 1.45pm ready to start run/walk 2pm. \nLook for the Harrier sign. \nChildren under parental care. \nThis is the first time we will be using electronic timing and results processing\, so we will be doing things a little bit differently. \nBecause this is a championship race and handicap race at the same time\, it will be a HUGE help to us if you are coming or even think you may be coming\, to pre-register. Hopefully we can do it sometime in the future. \nMeet at Elevation Carpark\, Picton\, at 1.30pm\, safety briefing at 1.45pm\, start at 2.00pm. \nTotal Distance 26km. \nLeg distances are: \nLeg 1 – 6.8km – Elevation to Speeds Road (split leg option) \nLeg 2 – 9.7km – Speeds Road to Tuamarina (split leg option) \nLeg 3 – 5.1km – Tuamarina to Spring Creek \nLeg 4 – 4.5km – Spring Creek to Old Grove Road Bridge \n(Option for walking teams to start early.) \nFinish at the Old Grove Road Bridge and then on to Dodson Street Beer Garden for some socialising\, or exaggeration of who was faster than who.
